Client released on his own recognizance after being charged with possession of drugs only 10 days after being released from state prison on a resdential burglary strike case.
Client charged with felony cultivation of marijuana and possession for sale. Case involved 68 mature plants being grown in a commerical warehouse with obvious signs of recent harvest. DEA investigated this case for months before issuing warrants and arrest. Result, client pled guilty to a single misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana over 1 oz. and served 30 days in jail without probation.
Motion to dismiss based on denial of right to speedy trial in felony hit and run granted.
